Mold Investigations Laboratory is a local full service microbiology testing laboratory
comprised of professionals in the microbiology, chemistry, and environmental fields. With a combined 35 years
of experience, we have the knowledge and expertise to provide you with accurate, timely and meaningful data
of high quality that you require to determine if your site has a mold problem. Our convenient location in
the Portland Metropolitan area ensures that we can respond quickly to your sampling and testing requirements,
and provide accurate and meaningful test results promptly.
Services
We provide a full spectrum of testing services, including:
- enumeration of both viable mold and total spores in air, surface, bulk, and swab samples
- identification of mold species found in samples
- quantitative air sampling for viable mold and spores
- isolation, enumeration, and identification of toxic molds
(e.g., Stachybotrys)
- detailed explanation of all findings
Methodology
Our testing protocols are based on American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA),
American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH),
American Society for Microbiology (ASM), OSHA, and ASTM methodologies.
